Take a walk on the wild (and crazy guy) side this Saturday, October 23 when Bridgeport’s own brauhaus, Maria’s Packaged Goods & Community Bar presents “Taking Out the Eurotrash: Rare Eurodisco & Other Worldly Delights”. DJ Gene Kooyeah (aka Joe Bryl) will draw from his collection of rare disco tracks from the four corners of the globe for a night of syncopated electronic beats, symphonic soul & flashy funk.
So slap on a lot of cologne & slip on your best platform shoes for a worldwide journey featuring Italo disco, Warsaw funk, Frankfurt discoteka, Rio electro-samba, Nassau dub disco, Lagos Afrobeat & Tokyo jazz-funk.
There is no cover for the event but the bar only takes dollars, so leave your Euros at home. All impoted beers & zimny piwos are $1 off.
